The YUVA Orientation 2026 was successfully conducted on 30th January 2026 through an online Zoom meeting by Young Indians (Yi) in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The program aimed to empower youth leadership, enhance skill development, and instil a strong sense of social responsibility among students.

He highlighted various initiatives and projects undertaken by Yi to nurture responsible and dynamic future leaders. The orientation emphasized the importance of youth participation in nation-building and encouraged students to actively engage in leadership and social development activities.

Mr. Kathiresan explained the YUVA student body structure, which includes positions such as YUVA Chair, Co-Chair, and Nodal Officers, focusing on areas like accessibility, climate change, entrepreneurship, and skill development. These roles offer students practical exposure and leadership experience.

The program concluded with an interactive Question and Answer session, during which students actively participated and expressed enthusiasm for joining Yi initiatives.
