GRV BMA College successfully organized an Oral Hygiene Day awareness program on 03 August 2026 under the Youth Red Cross (YRC) in collaboration with Shri Rajiv Gandhi College of Dental Sciences & Hospital. The program aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of maintaining good oral health and hygiene practices.
The event commenced with a warm welcome to the distinguished guests, faculty members, and students. Our respected Principal, Mrs. Amreen Banu, delivered the Welcome Address, emphasizing the importance of oral hygiene in maintaining overall health and encouraging students to adopt healthy dental care habits in their daily lives.
The program was attended by students from the BCA, BBA, and B.Com departments. All the faculty members actively participated in the event and contributed to its successful organization. Their presence and encouragement motivated the students to actively participate in the awareness session.
The team from Shri Rajiv Gandhi College of Dental Sciences & Hospital conducted an informative session on oral hygiene. The resource persons explained the importance of proper brushing techniques, regular dental check-ups, healthy eating habits, and preventive measures for maintaining good oral health. They also interacted with the students, answered their questions, and provided practical guidance on maintaining healthy teeth and gums.
The awareness session was highly educational and engaging. Students gained valuable knowledge about oral health, preventive dental care, and the importance of adopting good hygiene practices from an early age.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to Principal Mrs. Amreen Banu, the dental team from Shri Rajiv Gandhi College of Dental Sciences & Hospital, all faculty members, the Youth Red Cross coordinators, and the students of the BCA, BBA, and B.Com departments for their enthusiastic participation and support in making the event a grand success.
