GRV BMA organized the graduation day and farewell party for all the final year students on 6th September 2022 in the auditorium. Students from all the classes attended the programme.
The graduation day started at 10:00 AM. Mr. Gururaj Mansabdar, President, GRV Group of Institutions and Mrs. Poonam Sabarwal, Secretary, GRV Group of Institutions were invited as the guests of honour. Mr. Munir Ahmed, Director, GRV BMA was invited as the chief guest. The programme was conducted in the presence of The Principal GRV BMA Prof. Jayanthi G., and all the teaching and non-teaching staff.
The programme started with the introduction by Hemanth, Vaishnavi and Rida Anjum from BCom 2nd semester. The invocation song was sung by Annapoorna from BCA's 2nd semester. Further, all the dignitaries joined together to light the lamp of wisdom. The welcome speech was given by Ms. Suma and then all the management dignitaries spoke a few words and addressed the gathering. This was followed by the oath-taking ceremony by the principal Prof Jayanthi G. Further, the best outgoing students and the academic toppers from all the classes were announced by Mr. Prabhanjan N and the winners were felicitated with certificates and trophies.
After this was over, some of the students spoke a few words sharing their experiences and pleasures they had while studying at GRV. Then, all the students were provided with a letter of appreciation and college trophies. To entertain the students, funny awards were announced by Mr. Prabhanjan and many final-year students were nominated for this. After this, all three classes had photo sessions. This was where the graduation day was concluded. All the students were provided with lunch after which the unofficial farewell party started.
During the farewell party, the anchors were Nahida, Idris, Shifan, Faiza and Shaista from BCom 4th sem. Alia from BBA 4th Sem, Aiman and Najma from BCA 4th sem. The event started with an energetic dance from Nahida Khanum. This was followed by a dance performance by Sumaiyya and Maryam from BBA 4th sem. Further, a game of paper dance was conducted in which most of the final years participated. Then a mellifluous song performance by Asad and the team from BBA 4th sem took place. Further, the audience was entertained by the funny interview skit performed by the second sem BCom and BBA students. This was followed by another entertaining game, dumb charades in which most of the final year students participated and all the audience also took part in guessing the song. This was followed by an energetic dance performance by Idris and Asim in which all the final year students also enjoyed dancing at the end. Another unique dance was performed by Valan and the team from BCA 4th sem. All these entertainments were given a proper beauty touch by the videos played by the final year students where all the beautiful moments which took place were captured and shown in one go. After this emotional journey, Mr. Prabhanjan gave the vote of thanks. And finally, the programme ended with a brief DJ party where all the students present danced and had a lot of enjoyment and fun.
