The Ethnic day programme was held on 7/5/2022 at 10:00 AM in the auditorium. Students from all the classes had attended the programme. After the pandemic, the event was finally held and many students from various departments actively participated in various events.

The programme was organized by the cultural heads Mr. Prabhanjan and Ms. Suma. The programme was attended by the Principal Mrs. Jayanthi and all the faculty members.

First of all, the programme began with an introduction speech by Hemanth from BCom 1st semester and Alia from BBA 4th semester. This introduction was followed by the lighting of the lamp ceremony which was done by the Principal - Mrs. Jayanthi, Mrs. Kokila - HOD Dept of Commerce and Management, Mr. Vinod - HOD Dept of BCA and Mr. Nagaraj Kini - Assistant Professor.

Further, the programme was enlightened by the invocation verse in which Vaishnavi from BCom 1st semester read a few verses from Bhagavad-Gita, Richard from BBA 6th semester read a few verses from the Bible, and Tasleem Banu from BCom 4th semester read a few verses from the Quran.

This was followed by the welcome speech by Rida Anjum from BCom 1st semester and all the dignitaries were felicitated with Bouquets.

After all the formal events were done, the programme was further continued by Syed Sabir from BCom 6th semester, Afreen from BBA 6th semester, and Maryam from BCom 6th semester.

First of all the students were greeted by the visual delight delivered to all the students by Monika from BCom 4th semester with her mesmerizing Bharatanatyam dance.

Further, the students were greeted with the most mellifluous group singing by Annapoorna and team.

The programme went ahead with an energetic Afro dance by Dominique and Glorie from BBA 4th semester.

Further, the audience were energized by the power-packed Indian group dance by Vikas and team.

After the group dance, Glorie from BBA 4th semester sang a beautiful mashup of both Hindi and English songs.

All the audience were further stunned by the patriotic skit by Sabir and team.

Last but not the least, the cultural programmes were concluded by the most awaited fashion show where students from all the departments had participated.

All the classes were provided with a particular state's theme for decorating the auditorium. BCom 6th semester with the theme Kerala got the first place, BCom 4th semester with the theme West Bengal got the second place, and BBA 1st semester with the theme Kashmir got the third place for the best decoration in the auditorium. This contest was judged by Mr. Nagaraj Kini and Mrs. Vijayalakshmi.

From every class, one Mr. Ethnic and one Ms. Ethnic were chosen and were felicitated by the certificates.

The programme was concluded with a vote of thanks speech by Sanjay from BBA 1st semester.

All the students enjoyed the programme thoroughly and learned a lot about our Indian Ethnicity.
