The workshop was conducted by the resource person from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to create awareness among students and young investors about how to inculcate financial planning in them.

Key Learning objectives of the workshop were as follows:

• Need for Financial Planning
• Need to plan at early age so that you can meet the need
• Various investment avenues in the Indian financial markets
• Precautions to be taken before making investments
• nvestments strategies to reach your financial goals

Mr. Amaranth conducted this workshop by giving practical examples and giving certain rules to set and reach the financial goals. He also exemplified certain rules for investment, portfolio diversification and expected rate of return on investments with help of PPT presentation The students were asked to workout some examples given by him. The students were very enthusiastic and interacted with the resource person.

The workshop concluded with filling of the feedback form, question- answer session and vote of thanks.
