The staff picnic of GRV Group of Institution was organized on February 9th 2019. Apart from relaxation and enjoyment the picnic also aimed at building up team spirit among the members of the staff.
The organization of the picnic was done by Mrs. Poonam (Administrator of GRV Group of Institution) and Mr. Gururaj (President of GRV Group of Institution).

Garuda Polyflex Foods Pvt. Ltd is a joint venture established in the year 2011 between Garuda Food of Indonesia and the Polyflex Group of India. Mr. Anson Albert the Company HR demonstrated their famous consumer product called as Gone Mad and showed us a PPT on the entire processing of the product. He also briefed about the company by explaining Garuda Food is a $500 Million, 25 years old food and beverage company. It is a part of the Tudung Group which deals in Agribusiness, Food and Beverage manufacturing and distribution. It has 11 production plants, 18 beverage contract manufacturers, 6 food contract manufacturers in Indonesia and over 20,000 employees.
The Visit to Smart Asia India Expo was arranged on 06/10/18 at 10 am for UG and PG students of the GRV College along with two faculty members Mr.Nagraj Kini and Mrs. Rajeshwari.
On reaching the exhibition venue, the students and faculty registered their names at the entrance and then visited stalls which displayed various products.
On 21st September 2018 GRV Academy had organized an interactive awareness workshop about drug abuse & its ill effects in collaboration with RT Nagar Police Station. The workshop was conducted by sub inspector Irrappa & his team members.

MASH Foundation is a youth-led non-profit organization that fosters social entrepreneurship and leadership among young people.
The trainer for the session was Ms. Sammaira Shaikh, who trained our students to handle minor causalities, along with some activities like quizzing, group discussions, and questionnaires. It was an interactive session where students were asked to demonstrate a skit on road accidents and come up with suitable solutions. Our students actively participated and they were encouraged to follow the road safety measures.
Haleema Sabeen of HiRePro Consulting Pvt. Ltd has conducted job interview for the job openings in 24/7 Customer Pvt. Ltd. for the job description of business process outsourcing.
No backlog students of final year BCOM, BBA, BCA have attended the interview. Nearly 25 students have attended the first round of the job interview which was group discussion. The current affair topics were given for the group discussion. Students actively participated and 9 students were shortlisted for the second round.
Recently the students of MBA were taken for an Industrial visit on 16th March 2018 to Lazza Ice Creams in Kumbalgodu Industrial Estate, Mysore Road.
During the visit the students were toured inside the Plant. The students got full knowledge about the production, sales, purchase, procedure of making delicious ice creams. They also learnt about the manufacturing process and its special storing conditions.
The Best Manager Event was held to know the ability, capability, utility, skill & knowledge of undergraduate students in order to access their leadership quality. This event consisted of four rounds.
There was elimination based on the judgement given by judges at the end of each round. All Rounds were conducted in Auditorium. Best Manager will be selected from the final round of the event.
An invitation was sent by the Indian Academy College to participate in a power point presentation competition for the final year students, which was held on 9th March, 2018.
The theme of the event was "Parivarthan - Innovative Ideas for Traffic Management in Namma Bengaluru".
St. Joseph College and St. Claret College conducted inter college fest and our student won prizes in Debate Competition, Creative Writing and Cooking.

A one day simulation event was organized by GRV business Management Academy on 23rd January 2016, Saturday. The purpose behind conducting this event was to encourage our budding entrepreneurs and learners to come out of their shells and show their business talents and ideas.
The orientation program for the UG students of GRV Academy was held on 16 July 2015. The program enabled our students to interact with their peers and our teachers, and created a favorable environment to help them forge new friendships.
